Your Privacy

Issues of privacy, data protection and data security are increasingly important to European consumers and there is a need for ACN to protect the privacy of its customers in accordance with the efforts being made by governments that are working to provide a safe environment for consumers.

ACN does collect personal information of its customers in order to connect customers to the ACN network and supply services to its customers on an ongoing basis, as well as for the purpose to pay commissions and other payments to its Independent Representatives. 

ACN does not sell, rent or lease personal information to any third parties. ACN may, where permitted, use the personal information itself to market and promote other ACN products or services to its customers, where those customers have agreed to that usage of their personal information by ACN.  From time to time ACN is required to report to governmental agencies, regulatory bodies or industry organisations which may involve presenting a summary of a customer’s information, including personal information, in statistical or analytical form. When information is provided in statistical or analytical form, typically information that might specifically identify individual customers will not be disclosed.

ACN has implemented technology and security features and strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of our customer’s identifiable information from unauthorised access or improper use, and we will continue to enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available.

ACN honours requests from customers to review all personally identifiable information we maintain about customers in a reasonably retrievable form, and will correct any such information which may be inaccurate. Customers may apply to verify that appropriate corrections have been made.

ACN obtains the necessary consent from customers for its collection and use of their personal information in the terms and conditions of its Telephone Service Agreements.  This consent will include an acknowledgment by customers that some of this personal information collected and used by ACN may be transferred to and reside in ACN’s proprietary systems that are located in the United States.  

ACN has undertaken all necessary filings and registrations with data protection agencies in the countries in Europe where it operates and maintains such filings and registrations and responds promptly to any issues that arise from such data protection agencies.  For example, as ACN launches new products and services, it reviews the personal information it is collecting from its customers and if necessary, updates its filing and registrations as appropriate.

The goal of ACN is to take privacy issues seriously and take meaningful measures to safeguard the personal information of all its customers and to cooperate with government agencies and regulatory bodies in that endeavour.
