Miguel Santos and Augusto Ferreira are no strangers to one another after having already established a solid and successful import business following their introduction more than 12 years ago. This highly successful partnership obviously goes well beyond the COC pins they now share as they continue to provide invaluable leadership to their respected organisation.
“We met because our wives are related. Since then, we’ve owned our own importing business, so we were partners long before ACN.”
Meant To Be
Augusto had actually come across ACN back when it had expanded into Europe in 1998 but it wasn’t until 5 years later that destiny was to intervene.
“Art Napolitano and George Zalucki called me up when they started in Europe, but we were never able to get together,” Augusto remembers. “As a result, they never explained what it was. Then we didn’t have the time to go look into it, so it took several years until we actually looked at ACN.”
The extensive introduction occurred in 2003 and even though Miguel was hesitant at first, it didn’t take either long to realise that an incredible opportunity had just landed on their collective laps.
“After meeting with a few of the directors, I got the idea that the company was very professional, and I was very impressed,” Miguel says. “But what really made the difference was that I got to know the owners. I would never join anything without knowing and trusting the people in charge.”
The Solution
Miguel & Augusto were both already quite successful with their careers and were more interested in ACN for the opportunity to find more time for their families and themselves. The possibility of residual income was this solution and one that had both of them ready to add network marketing to their accomplishments.
“The idea of residual income was very attractive because we worked hard but never had time to spend the money,” Augusto says. “We never had time to spend with our families, and we thought a residual income might be a great solution for this problem.”
Armed with determination and passion, Miguel and Augusto have built an impressive ACN business and look to break new ground in most production categories. In only two years, they have become Regional Vice Presidents and most recently have been chosen as members of ACN’s well-regarded Circle of Champions.
Building Relationships
The pair have many things in common when it comes to their approach to this unique concept and the two most glaring similarities is their beliefs on building long term trust with their business counterparts and to help them succeed in any way possible. Miguel believes that it’s the long term trust you build with others by taking action and always delivering while Augusto adds that their achievements are fuelled by their desires to help others achieve the same level of success they now share together.
